Inaugural BlogWorld and New Media Expo December 8, 2006

Posted by Jeff in BlogWorld, Podcast Conferences.

Here’s an event that looks very promising!

BlogWorld, an event that will be a combination of a trade show, conference and media event, will debut November 8 and 9 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. There will be an additional day on November 7th for CEO’s and marketing professionals looking to take advantage of the opportunities New Media offers.

The event coordinators say that it will be a blending of the needs of individual bloggers, vloggers, podcasters, internet radio broadcasters and corporate America; and that it will provide a platform for an exchange of ideas and technologies that will make attendance in Las Vegas a “must” for all serious bloggers.

It certainly sounds like a “must”, with 40 thousand square feet of exhibit space and displays from web hosting companies, broad band ISP’s, podcast services, blog publishing software vendors, RSS syndication services, and search engine optimization consultants. Well-known names in the blogging community will also be there with tracks like “monetizing your blog”, “increasing readership”, “podcasting” and others.

If you’re serious about blogging, this does sound like an event that you’ll want to be going to.

More information regarding BlogWorld & New Media Expo can be obtained at the website ( www.blogworldexpo.com ), or by calling 858-309-4747.
